Mr. Clyde Lewis Wilson, age 68, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw.
Clyde was born in Flint, Michigan, on April 30, 1957, to James & Delores (Shaver) Wilson. He grew up in Vassar and graduated from Vassar High School with the class of 1975. In his working years, Clyde was a truck driver for Stuart Delivery. On June 27, 1975, he married the love of his life, Debra Sue Reil. Together they share countless memories, raised their children, and celebrated nearly 50 years of marriage. In his free time, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a member of Double Eagles Motorcycle Club of Vassar, and he also liked to play dice. Above all, Clyde cherished the time he spent with his family and his dogs, Chi-Chi and Buddy.
He is survived by is wife, Deb Wilson; children: Jim (Julie) Wilson, Scott (Tamara) Wilson, Jeri (Dan) Wilson, and Brenda (Troy) Goss; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Hatfield; brother, Gene (Nancy) Wilson; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, James and Delores; stepfather, Jerry Emery; brothers, Al, Ed, and Rob; sister, Doris; and granddaughter, MaKaylee Schultz.
Funeral services for Clyde will be at Hanlin Funeral Home in Vassar at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 23, 2025; visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Afterward, Clyde will be laid to rest in Denmark Twp. Cemetery. Luncheon to follow at Cardinal Pizza in Millington.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the family c/o of Jim Wilson.
