Cody "Tookie" Moore

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, July 14, 2025, at the Matthews Funeral Home in Lake Arthur, LA for Mr. Cody "Tookie" Moore, 38, who passed on Monday, June 30, 2025, in Lake Arthur, LA.
The family request that visiting hours will be observed at the Matthews Funeral Home in Lake Arthur, LA on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 9:30 AM until his services at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Andrus Cover cemetery. Reverend Jared Thomas will be officiating the services.
Cody was born in Jennings, LA, on August 7, 1986, to the late Mr. Randy James Moore of Jennings, LA and Mrs. Bonnie Lou Trahan Moore of Welsh, LA. He worked as a Roustabout in the Oil Field Industry. A father, brother and friend who loved spending time with his family and friends will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Cody is survived by his daughters, Elijah Moore and Kaylyn Ornelas; his brothers, Tim Moore, John Miller and Raymond Miller; one sister, Tammy Moore (Chris); Seventeen nieces and nephews and 5 great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Randy James Moore and Bonnie Lou Trahan Moore; his sister, Patsy Miller.
Pallbearers carrying Cody Moore to his place of rest will be Josh Miller, Caleb Gary, Hunter Moore, Trevor Broussard, Aaron Broussard and Kedrick Gabriel.
