Colette F. Williams, 93, of Mishawaka, IN., passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025 in her residence with those that loved her nearby.
Colette was born on October 23, 1931 in South Bend, IN to the late Henry R. and Martha (Van Paris) Neland.
On May 25, 1952 Colette married Charles R. Williams. Charles preceded her in death on December 4, 2024. Colette was also preceded by her sister, Nancy Carol Roskuski.
Colette is survived by her two daughters; Cindy Williams and Gail (Craig) Anderson, six grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren and her brother, Robert Neland.
Colette graduated from Riley High School in 1949 and worked for Singer Sewing Machine Company in the office for 5 years. She and her husband Charles owned and operated Bresler's 33 Flavors Ice Cream Shop in Scottsdale Mall and University Park Mall for 17 years and they also owned and operated the Das Pretzel House at the Buyers Market Place in Mishawaka during the 1980's.
Colette was a workaholic and loved running her own business. She loved to keep busy, she enjoyed shopping, she couldn't pass up a sale, she loved collecting, especially beanie babies, planting flowers, and she was an amazing seamstress. She loved feeding and watching the hummingbirds and feeding her pet wild rabbit in her backyard. Colette's greatest love was her family and her grandchildren, she enjoyed going to their sporting events, dance performances and having them sleep over.
She will be missed so much. When she left us, Heaven got an amazing angel who will always be looking down on us to make sure we are doing okay and safe.
Private family services will be held on April 23rd with entombment at Riverview Cemetery in South Bend. Palmer Funeral Home – Bubb Chapel is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Seniors Helping Seniors Northern Indiana, 50554 Cobus Ridge Lane, Granger, IN 46530 or to Heart to Heart Hospice, 620 West Edison Road #122, Mishawaka, IN 46545.

"I'm still Here"
I may be gone but please don't cry
Death is not the last good-bye
Death released me of my pain
There will come a day we will meet again
Don't be blue and don't be sad
Think back to the fun we had
I am always here, I hear you speak
In times of trouble it's me you seek
You don't see me, but I see you
I will do my best to pull you through
Speak to me and I will hear
Never far I am always near
Be brave my love, do not cry
See you again, it's not goodbye.
