Connie Austin Obituary

She was born on February 6, 1942, in Hartford City. Connie was the daughter of Carl J. and Minnie J. Brady. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose quiet strength and kindness touched everyone who knew her.
Connie retired from American National Bank after many years of dedicated service and later worked at Woodway Internal Medicine, where her warmth and dependability were deeply valued.
Outside of work, she took great pride in her home and found joy in gardening and caring for her yard-a reflection of her love for beauty and order.
She is survived by her sons, Scott Austin of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Craig Austin of Indianapolis; three granddaughters, Margaret Varela, Madelyne Austin and Ellen Hart of Dallas, Texas; and three great-grandchildren, Jack, Weston and Charlotte Hart, also of Dallas.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Minnie Brady.
A private family service will be held to celebrate her life.
