Connie Gay Clemens Lowery, 82, of Marion, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Autumn Care of Saluda.
A native of Los Angeles, California, Connie was born November 18, 1942 to the late Donald Leroy Clemens and Louella Olive Grace Clemens.
An alumni of Los Angeles Trade Tech, Connie's educational pursuits provided her with a foundation that she would build upon throughout her life. Connie was most proud of her work with McDonnell Douglas, where she contributed to the production of airplane parts for the military.
Outside the realm of work, Connie was a woman of many interests and passions. She enjoyed sewing and cooking, activities that brought comfort and joy to her life and to those around her. She cherished hosting get-togethers with family and friends. Having everyone together was most important to Connie.
However, her proudest accomplishments were rooted in her role as a mother. She took great joy in caring for her children and devoted herself wholeheartedly to their upbringing. Her love extended beyond her children, enveloping her grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Lowery, and one brother, Robert Clemens.
Those left to cherish her memory are six children, Dana Gilbert Keith, Amanda Keith Walker, Debora Keith Workman, Robert Dale Keith, Robin Lowery Smith, and Rachel Renee Lowery; one brother, Donald Clemens; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
2170 Rutherford Rd, Marion, NC 28752
