Connie Sue Peercy born October 19th, 1946 to Marvin Whitlock and Dorothy Whitlock in Wewoka, Oklahoma. She attended Wewoka High School.
Connie married David Peercy on September 9, 1966. One daughter, Vickie Sue, born 2 years later.
Connie worked at numerous local nursing homes before joining Holdenville General Hospital where she retired after 20 years of service.
Connie enjoyed going to lunch with her friends, collecting bells and never missed an opportunity to talk on the phone. She loved the little things, but the biggest things in life was her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband David Peercy of 49 years, parents, brothers; Gary Whitlock, Phil Whitlock, Clayton Whitlock, sisters-in-law; Linda Whitlock, Louise Parker, brother-in-law Dee Parker, Orville Rose, nephews; Lance Whitlock, Ian Upchurch, nieces; Deanne Upchurch, Sheri Whitlock, Shelly Robertson, and Donna Parker.
Survived by daughter Vickie Orsburn and husband Jerry of Holdenville, grandson Jon Hudson and wife Alex of Choctaw, granddaughter Jamie Atwood and husband Dakota of Tecumseh, great-grandsons; Marshall Hudson, Sutton Atwood, in-laws; Jim Brewer and wife Eudena and Bobbie Rose. Connie is survived by many other nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Connie requested donations to the Church.
Pallbearers are: Jon Hudson, Keith Gann, Lynn Pettit, Josh Brewer, Brian Brewer, Clayton Whitlock Jr., and Jamie Atwood. Honorary pallbearers are "The Men of the Church".
Viewing will be 1pm to 7pm, Saturday, Dec 7th and 1pm to 5pm, Sunday, Dec 8th at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.
Family will greet guest 3pm to 5pm, Sunday, Dec 8th at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 9, 2024 at the East Main Church of Christ with Kevin Wright officiating.
Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.
