Constance Louise Reed, 89, passed away on November 1, 2024, at the Yorktown Manor, Yorktown, IN, from complications of Alzheimer's Disease.
Connie was a lifelong resident of Anderson. She was born on March 1, 1935, to A.H. and Edith Kelly in Anderson. She attended Anderson High School, and later earned her GED along with her husband several years later.
Connie married Verlin Dayton in 1951 and they were happily married for 50 years until Verlin's passing in 2001. She worked for Sears for 56 years, nicknamed "Mrs. Sears and Roebuck", retiring in 2007.
Very outgoing with a thirst for adventure, Connie loved to travel around the world with Verlin, vacationing in England, Scandinavia, Australia, Morocco, Hawaii, and many other exotic locations, and kissed the Blarney Stone in Ireland.
Connie remarried in 2010 to Morris Reed of Anderson, until Morris' passing in 2020.
