Craig E. Taulman, aged 45, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2024, in West Chester, PA. Born on December 20, 1978, in Middletown, PA, Craig was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, and a loyal brother and friend whose warmth and courage touched all who knew him.
Craig is survived by his beloved wife, Karen Myers Taulman, and their two sons, Craig Jr. and Tyler. He was the proud son of Joseph Taulman and his wife Michelle, and the late Mabel Allen Taulman. His brother, Joseph Taulman, along with many nieces, nephews to whom he was a Beloved Uncle, and friends, will fondly remember Craig's friendly spirit and wise counsel.
Educated at St. Madeline Grade School and Archmere Academy, Craig's academic journey was marked by a strong sense of discipline and dedication. He furthered his education at Emory-Riddle Aeronautical University, which paved the way for his honorable service in the U.S. Navy from 2000 to 2006. His time in the Navy not only honed his leadership skills but also instilled in him the courage that would define his character.
Following his military service, Craig transitioned to civilian life and became a respected shift manager at Peach Bottom Nuclear Power Plant. His colleagues admired his work ethic and the wisdom he brought to his role.
Craig's interests were a reflection of his love for life and his community. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, sharing his passion for the game with friends and family alike. A simple pleasure for him was enjoying a cold Bud Light, especially when surrounded by loved ones at SSL, where he was a cherished member of the community. His presence at gatherings was always a source of joy and camaraderie.
Those who knew Craig would describe him as exceptionally friendly, always ready with a smile or a helping hand. His wisdom was sought after by many, as he had a unique way of offering perspective that was both insightful and comforting. Above all, Craig was courageous, not only in his service to his country but also in his daily life, facing challenges with a steadfast resolve.
Craig's legacy is one of love, service, and friendship. He lived a life that exemplified the values he held dear, and his memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to cross his path. He will be deeply missed, yet his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
As the sun sets on a life so brightly lived, we bid farewell to Craig E. Taulman, a man whose life was a testament to the power of kindness, the strength of wisdom, and the bravery of the human spirit. Though he has sailed into the horizon, the wake of his journey leaves ripples of love and memories that will endure forever.
