Creighton J. Spinn

Creighton Jon Spinn, 85 formerly of Weston, MO passed into his heavenly reward in the early hours on Wednesday August 27, 2025 at Heritage Village in Platte City, MO.
Creighton was born on February 6th, 1940 in Cleveland, Ohio to Andrew and Eleanore (Peterson) Spinn. Creighton was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a sister. He is survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends who will miss him greatly.
Creighton was a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University with a BA degree and was a veteran of the United States Army serving as a medic. Creighton was a firm believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and was a past deacon of Cornerstone Bible Church in the Kansas City Northland.
Creighton was involved in sales during much of his lifetime, serving as a fleet sales manager in Ohio and also for Saturn of Platte City, MO. He got the itch for over the road trucking at a point of time in his life, so he got his CDL and became an OTR driver for Covenant Trucking for several years. The last job he had was driving cars for Budget Car Rental, which he enjoyed very much working with the other drivers and loaders. Throughout his varied means of employment, Creighton enjoyed dealing in antiques, having a booth at several dealers around the area.
Creighton enjoyed lifelong learning as he was an avid reader. Creighton was always ready for a round of golf and was a good team member during various tournaments.
Memorial service for Creighton will be Friday, September 19th at 4:00 PM at Cornerstone Bible Church, 10336 NW Prairie View Road. Interment with Military Honors to follow at 6:00 PM - Laurel Hill Cemetery, Weston, MO.
