Crystal M. (Hess) Stoner, 56, of Waynesboro, PA passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 4, 2023 in Mercersburg, PA. Born February 6, 1967 in McConnellsburg, PA she was the daughter of Charlotte (Everts) Hess of St. Thomas, PA and the late Charles Hess.
She was a graduate of James Buchanan Senior High School with the Class of 1985. Crystal was a printing press operator for Graphics Universal for 23 years. She was currently employed by Navitor East Printing formerly Regency Thermographers, Waynesboro. Crystal was a member of the St. Thomas American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Waynesboro Moose Club. She enjoyed camping at Saundersosa Park, making crafts and selling them at craft shows and flea markets, visiting Gatlinburg, TN, and most of all spending time with her grandsons.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 37 years, Lonnie E. Stoner of Waynesboro who she married November 15, 1986; two daughters, Courtney Stoner and Chelsey Wease and her husband Casey both of Waynesboro; three grandsons, Lucas Turner, Leiland Wease and Layton Wease; and twin brothers, Dannie Hess and his wife Laura and Dale Hess both of St. Thomas, PA.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM, Monday, June 12, 2023 in the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org or to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
