Kevin S. Martin, 63, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025, at Wellspan York Hospital. He was born on April 6, 1962, in Chambersburg, PA to Norma J. (Brookens) Martin of Fayetteville, PA and the late Ronald G. Martin.
Kevin was a graduate of Wheaton High School in Silver Spring, MD. He was employed by Gibbles Foods in Chambersburg, PA as a machine operator. He was a member of the Chambersburg Church of Christ in Chambersburg, PA. He enjoyed going to auctions and he loved sports. In his younger years, he played football, baseball, basketball, and golf and spent a lot of time at the Langley Park Boys Club in Silver Spring, MD. Kevin was quite a jokester and will be remembered for his great sense of humor.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by aunts and uncles Deb and Bill Bumbaugh; Bev and Tommy Daley; and numerous cousins. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Pauline C. (Sites) and William Walter Martin; maternal grandparents Larue C. (McNew) and Garnet Brookens; aunts Mary Bollinger; Anna Hake; Ethel Bumbaugh; and numerous cousins.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday, August 25, 2025, from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM. The funeral services will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202 with Evangelist Dick Bartrug officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
