Crystal Gail Varney

Crystal Gail Huffman Tindle Varney, 54, Shelbyville, died Sunday, December 14, 2025 suddenly and unexpectedly at her home. A native of Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Judy Ann Snider Cook and the late Marvin Huffman. She was a homemaker. In her leisure time, she enjoyed crafting, making many items of home décor and wreaths. She was Baptist by faith.

Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Billy Joe Varney of Shelbyville; two sons, Robert Shane Tindle and Isaac Draven, both of Shelbyville; her mother, Judy Cook of Shelbyville; her grandson, Kai Gaige Ritchie of Shelbyville; her stepdaughter, Haley Potter of Irvine and two step-grandchildren, Xavier Newman and Alexander Newman, both of Irvine.

Cremation was selected, and a memorial service will be planned later.
