Funeral services for Cynthia “Pud” Martin Breland, 77, of Shreveport, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 18, 2025, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Rd. with Rev. Gerald Lewis officiating. A private family interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00PM until service time at the funeral home.
Pud was born October 4, 1947, to Curtis W. and Doris Graves Martin in Monroe, and passed away on July 12, 2025, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents. She grew up in Monroe and graduated from Ouachita Parish High School. Pud spent many years working in the computer industry. Over the years, she was employed by Ford, Bacon & Davis, The City of Monroe and Supersaver Wholesale. She retired after working in accounting at Euroboard. Pud loved being with her family. She enjoyed any occasion that she could be with them. She especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The beach was a favorite place to vacation with all of them. In her last year, Pud loved to watch game shows in her favorite recliner next to her special friend Butch Brown.
Survivors include her daughters, Dawn Breland Buzzanca and husband Joe and Shelli Clark Pierce and husband David; grandchildren, Sarah Mulhearn Haines and husband Anthony, Tori Martin, Allie Martin Dial and husband Daniel, Landon Martin, Derek Pierce, Connor Pierce, Brandon Buzzanca, and Kyle Buzzanca and wife Courtney; and great-grandchildren, Lily Ana Pierce, Jay Martin, Grayson Johnson, and Maddox Johnson,
