Daniel Catterson Obituary
Though not a native to Rock Hill, Daniel attended Finley Road Elementary, Rawlinson Road Middle School and graduated from Northwestern High School in 2015. Daniel married his high school sweetheart, Sarah Ashman, at the young age of 21. Together, they began to add branches to the Catterson family tree in the form of a beautiful baby boy, James (6) and a beautiful baby girl, Riley (11 months). He is also survived by his brother, Nicholas Blaine Wilson of Rock Hill; his maternal grandparents, Daniel and Gloria Elswick of Meadowview, VA; and paternal grandfather, James Catterson of North Platte, NE.
Daniel worked in construction and was employed with MSS. He loved to hunt, fish, and work on cars. He was a gamer and a lover of Honda cars. He enjoyed spending time with his Honda cars group in Rock Hill. Daniel could make anyone laugh with his quick wit and great sense of humor. He cared for people and would do anything he could to help others. Daniel was a wonderful son, husband, dad and friend. He loved spending time with his children and family. His family was his whole life.
A Celebration of Daniel's life will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30-1:45 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Forest Hills Cemetery.
