Daniel R. Decker, 54 of Canal Fulton, Ohio, passed away at this home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on February 20, 1970 in Canton, Ohio. Dan was a graduate of Jackson High School and employed with the Stark County Sanitary Engineers for 22 years. He was a loving husband, proud father who especially enjoyed watching his sons grow into fine young men. Dan enjoyed watching college football, baseball, and birdwatching. He loved his fur babies Liberty, Sasha, Bella and Littleshit and his grand fur babies, Nuggy and Graham.
Daniel is survived by his devoted wife, Heather Decker; sons, Dale (Haley) Decker and Evan Decker; father, James L. Decker; siblings, Jennifer (Jim) Hoffner and David Decker; mother-in-law, Janet Seifert; in-laws, Linda (Dave) Calvin, Debbie Seifert, Barb (Rick) Fogle and numerous nieces and nephews.
Daniel was preceded in death by his mother, Madeline Decker; grandmothers, Rita Lefebvre and Pauline Miller; father-in-law, Dale Seifert; sister-in-law, Michelle Decker and brother-in-law, Douglas Seifert.
Visitation will be held TUESDAY, February 4, 2025, 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. A funeral service will immediately follow at 8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dan's name can be made to the American Cancer Society.
