Daniel Harold Givens, age 66 went to be with the Lord February 4, 2024. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 28, 1957.
Dan never met a stranger. He loved his friends and family and would always talk about his uncles Dale (Wanda) and Dick Givens, and Aunt Linda.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Catharine (Burch) Givens.
He is survived by sisters Bonnie (Dwayne) McClellan; Vicki (Sim) Morris; and Jody (Paul) Lairson; Nephew Joshua McClellan; Nieces Candace Morris; Jessica (Kevin) Stephens; Stephanie Lairson; Sara Lairson; Great Nieces Alexis Parks, Myranda Stephens and Callie Jo Litton; and special friend Louise Hudkins.
The family would like to give a special thanks to his support staff Louann Threlkeld for the love and excellent care she provided, and to Hospice of Dayton.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 9, 2024 from 9:30am to 10:30am with services beginning at 10:30am all at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH 45424. Burial to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.

I first met Danny at Special Olympics bowling many years ago. He was one of the sweetest people I've ever met. So thankful I got to see him just a few weeks ago. Will miss his smiling face. Sympathy and prayers for the family
