Daniel Adin Hogue, born January 12, 2006, sadly left us on January 20, 2025. Daniel was a
young 19-year-old man whose life, though tragically cut short, was marked by an unwavering
faith, a passion for adventure, and a warmth that drew people to him.
Daniel's life was a testament to the power of living each day to its fullest. A 2024 graduate of
Edmond Memorial High School, he carried his strong faith with him as he continued his studies
at the University of Arkansas, where he was a freshman majoring in finance with a minor
international business.
Daniel was the cherished son of Michael Andrew Hogue and Cynthia Deanne Hogue. He was a
supportive and loving brother to Gavin and Nathan. Daniel's family was the cornerstone of his
life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Daring, fearless, and brave, Daniel lived life to the fullest. His love for the great outdoors was
unparalleled. Rock climbing, camping, fishing, hiking, snowboarding, dirt bike riding, watersport
and scuba diving were just a few of the activities that filled Daniel's days with excitement a
adventure.
As we remember Daniel, we are reminded of the words of Helen Keller: "Life is either a daring
adventure or nothing at all." Daniel embraced this philosophy wholeheartedly, infusing every day
with adventure and joy. His passing is a profound loss, but his legacy is one of passion, faith,
and friendship.
To his family, Daniel was a source of joy and laughter. To his friends, he was an irreplaceable
companion. To the world, he was a shining example of what it means to live life with courage,
faith, and kindness. His story is a reminder to us all to cherish every moment, to seek out
adventure, and to love deeply. Daniel Adin Hogue will be profoundly missed, but his journey will
continue to inspire us all to live life to the fullest, just as he did.
We are comforted by the knowledge that Daniel now rests in the loving arms of our Savior,
Jesus Christ. His departure, though sudden, cannot diminish the love we hold for him nor the joy
he brought into our world. Daniel Adin Hogue, you have run the race, you have kept the faith, and
now, you have claimed the prize of eternal life (2 Timothy 4:7)

Daniel was a student in my class at Central Middle School. He was a ray of sunshine who worked hard when it was time to work, and played hard when it was time to play. He was a precious person and will be missed! My prayers go to his family and dear friends.
