Danny was a gifted culinary artist, this passion led him to an accomplished career. His talent led him to prestigious kitchens, including Churchill Downs and The Galt House, and even afforded him the opportunity to serve as personal chef to the Ambassador of Switzerland. He inspired chefs while teaching Culinary Arts in Cincinnati. Beyond his professional achievements, Danny found joy in the simple pleasures of reading, professional wrestling, and eagerly following his favorite show, "The Walking Dead." A lifelong melody of the Beatles always filled his heart and home.
He is survived by his son Christopher Hook of Salem, IN; daughter in law Lou Ann Hook of Jeffersonville, IN; grandson Jacob Hook of Salem, IN, and Journie Hook of Jeffersonville, IN.
He is preceded in death by his son Jon Hook, brother David Hook, and his parents.
Per Danny's wishes, cremation was chosen by the family.
