Daniel B. Sabens (Danny), of Falmouth, died peacefully on June 9, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was 73 years old.
Born and raised in Falmouth, he was known and loved by many. He worked at the Steamship Authority and as a Truck Driver. He loved watching the Falmouth and Boston sports teams. Always looking after his family especially his brother KK.
He was a loving father. Daughter Kelsey was his world. Always making others laugh, full of jokes and stories. He could always be found around town making his "rounds" which included morning drives, coffee and chatting with his many friends. And he was always a man of his word. Danny and his witty presence will be so dearly missed by his family, friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He is survived by daughter Kelsey Borselli and husband Jon Borselli, of Falmouth. He is also survived by brother Donald F. Sabens and wife Nanita, brother Gary E. Sabens and wife Margaret E. Sabens, brother Douglas A. Sabens and wife Christine, and sister Wanda C. Maloney, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by his brother Kenneth W (KK), and his parents Arthur and Fern Sabens.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, from 4 – 7 PM at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 475 Main Street, Falmouth, MA. A Graveside Service will take place on Thursday, June 16, 20922 at 11 AM at Oak Grove Cemetery, Jones Road, Falmouth, MA.
