It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Dan in North Charleston, South Carolina. He was born in Derby, Connecticut to his late father Charles, “Ricky” Walker, and Jewel Blevins Walker. He graduated from Fairfield Warde High School and attended classes at Savannah College of Art and Design. He was a talented musician and artist, a gift he passed on to his loving sons, Caleb, Gabriel and Anakin, who were his greatest joy. He was compassionate, giving, donating platelets for others. He was always there for his AA family who he loved. Dan loved the beach and frequently birdwatching with his friend Tom. He is survived by his grandmother, Renee Walker of New York, mother Jewel Blevins Walker of Tennessee, brothers Rich (Marysia) Walker of Connecticut, Matthew and Casey Skudlarek of Tennessee. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Arline, Jodie (Greg), Shelly (Herb) of New York, Lauree (Jim),  Michael (Nancy) of Connecticut as well as by the mothers of his children Julia Barnhart  of South Carolina, Sarah  Starr of North Carolina, their families, many cousins and numerous friends.

Also he was predeceased by his grandmother, Ruth Walker of Connecticut and grandfather, Charles Walker of New York.

Memorial services will be October 17, 2024 1 PM at seacoast Church – North Charleston, 5505 N. Rhett Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406
