Danny Rhybon Folds, 77, of Roopville, Georgia, passed away on January 22, 2025. He was born on September 25, 1947, in Roopville, Georgia, the son of the late Charlie Rhybon Folds and Mildred Allene Hopkins Folds.
Danny proudly served his country in the United States Army, dedicating himself to the principles of honor and duty.
A true jack of all trades, he was skilled in many areas, always eager to lend a hand or tackle a new challenge. In his downtime, Danny found joy in cruising the open road in his beloved Ford Mustang, the roar of the engine a thrilling soundtrack to his adventures. He also loved engaging in conversations over the CB radio, relishing the camaraderie and stories shared with fellow enthusiasts.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Dorrie Folds.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sisters & brother-in-law, Charlene Cook, Judy Smith, Janie Williamson, and Dr. Mark & Margie Hammock; brother & sister-in-law, Hal & Yvonne Folds; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will honor and celebrate Danny's life on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Martin & Hightower Funeral Home, with Mr. Terry Harper officiating. Interment will follow in Goshen Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 PM until the hour of service.
