Danny J. Proctor, 59 of Lakeland, FL Danny was born and raised in Lakeland and graduated from Lakeland High School in 1985. Danny started his career with Publix Supermarkets on August 21, 1982, bagging groceries at Grove Park under Mr. Wally Oestreich. He later moved on to selecting at The Dairy Warehouse, Frozen Food, Drove A Publix Truck for 17 Years, then advanced his career as supervisor in dispatch, box meat, frozen foods and ended his career at the produce warehouse. Danny was a loving husband, father, papa and friend. He was a hardworking, devoted man that knew no strangers. He was a mentor to all and wanted everyone to live each day to the fullest. He enjoyed hunting, going out on his boat, fishing and riding at River ranch. To know him was to love him. There were no strangers when it came to him. He was a providing, loving, caring man. He loved his family and friends but to Danny everyone was his family it didn't matter who you were or where you came from, you were family. He was taken from this world way too soon. He had more memories to make, people to meet, and places to see. Remember the good times, laugh and share his stories. He left behind his loving wife Kelley Proctor, Daughter Megan and son Austin. Son in law Michael and daughter in law Brittany. Granddaughters Railynn and Bristal, his dog kids Shooter and Cotton, grand dogs Bentley and Boone. Brother Dennis Proctor jr and wife Jill, nephews Beau (Bailey) and Ben. Stepmother Landyce Proctor. He was preceded by his parents Dennis Proctor, SR. and Mary Jane Proctor. Grandparents Lavern and Lucille Proctor, Newett and Virginia Cabell Danny will forever be missed. Gone but not forgotten.
