I'm loving memory of Darcy Lee Jacobson (Waa Saa Gezh Gok)
We are sad to announce the death of our loved one who has passed away on January 6th of 2023.
She was born on June 26th of 1988 in Antigo, Wisconsin and was raised by her mother Tammy Mann and stepfather Gerald W. Mann Sr. in Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin along with her father Walter Benji Jacobson in Carter, Wisconsin.
Darcy comes from a big family that consists of living grandmothers; Rosalind Kendrick of Carter and Mary Mann of Lac du Flambeau. Sisters; Heather Vanzile of Newald, Stacy Conn of Appleton, Sarah Armstrong of Lac du Flambeau, Jessica Mann of Carter, Casey Jacobson of Crandon, Rosalind Mann of Waukesha, Gerry Ann Mann of Carter and Tammy P. Mann of Lac du Flambeau. Brothers; Gerald W. Mann Sr of Lac du Flambeau, Lawrence Mann of Crandon, Yance Mann of Blackwell, William Mann of Appleton and Chance Mann of Lac du Flambeau. She also has many nieces and nephews; 36 altogether. Her previously departed loved ones include her grandparents Jesse and Emily Jacobson, Alfred Pauliot and Rudolph Kendrick. The list can go on and on of the many relatives Darcy had so as you can see she was loved in many ways and in many places.
Her life was definitely cut short however Darcy lived life to the fullest and was always on an adventure. She was so full of humor and her laughter was contagious. Her loyalty was undeniable, never was she the one to turn her back on you when you were in need. She had such a good heart and will be well missed.
Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at the Forest County Potawatomi Community Cultural Center, Crandon. Services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at the Potawatomi Cultural Center with Boyce Vallerie officiating. Burial to follow at Lakeview (Carter) Cemetery, Wabeno.
