Additionally, his extended family includes Ken and Pat Hodge, Ray and Heidi Hodge, Cliff and Shelia Hodge, Bill and Janice Hodge, Ann Ingram, Missy and Michael Williams, Buck and Tracy Adkisson, Chad and Clint Adkisson.

He was preceded in death by his beloved son Darin Adkisson, his parents Ben and Grace Adkisson, and his brothers Ben Jr., Johnny, and Tim Adkisson.

A Celebration of Life was held at Lakeland Baptist Church on Saturday, January 18th. In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to Lakeland Baptist Church in his memory. David's legacy of kindness, humor, and integrity will be cherished and remembered by all who knew him.
