I remember David Farber as our Adult youth group leader at St. Paul´s Lutheran Church in Flemington during the 1970s. He was a patient, kind and empathetic man. I heard the song "Here Comes The Sun" today and it moved me to search for his name online. I was sad to find his obituary. He played that song at a sunrise service, by a stream, for at least one of our youth group camp out. He made an impact on my life for good. May he rest in peace. And condolences to his family.

Dave Farber was an excellent math teacher with whom I briefly had the pleasure of working over forty years ago when I was the principal at Voorhees High School. He was also, in spite of physically not being very tall in stature, a very good basketball player, who went on playing in pick-up games long after I was able to do so. But regardless of his height, he was a giant in my eyes, because he truly cared about all with whom he developed a relationship. I am so sorry to learn that he has passed on. Rich Sternberg

Mr. Farber was one of the best teachers I've ever had. When we had a test, he not only graded the test, but he went over our scrap paper and showed us where our calculations/methods were incorrect. He was a wonderful educator. Rest in Peace, Mr. Farber.
