David Gonzales Obituary

David was known as Superman by those who loved him for the way he handled his illness the last many years, he was an example to all. He was a dedicated longtime employee at Hollywood Casino in Aurora, Illinois.
He is survived by his wife of thirty one years, Maria (Gutierrez) Gonzales; two children, David Gonzales, Jr., Nicole Gonzales; two granddaughters, Angelique Ramirez Gonzales, Charlotte Ripley Gonzales; nine siblings, San Juanita Gonzalez, Rodolfo (Erlinda) Gonzalez, Estela (Guillermo) Castro, Jose Angel (Chevelle) Gonzales, Guadalupe (Cecilia) Gonzalez, Juan Luis (Sherry) Gonzales, Elida (Ruben, Jr.) Rosas, Recardo (Obdulia) Gonzales, Josefina (Neil) Plascencia; thirty one nieces and nephews; fifty eight great nieces and nephews; five great great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan R. and Juanita Gonzalez; his brother, Raul Gonzalez; his maternal grandparents, Joaquin and Aurelia Gonzalez; a nephew, Juan Luis "Jay" Gonzales, Jr.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 14, 2025 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street Aurora, IL 60506, 630-631-5500.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 14, 2025 at 7:00 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY; Rev. John Reimers will officiate. Interment will be private.
