David G. Goosey, age 52 of Marceline, died Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at his home surrounded by family and friends. David was born in Brookfield, Missouri on December 5, 1969 to David and Gail (Moore) Goosey. He married Kim Clark on December 7, 1991 at Marceline.
David had worked at Schmitt's Building Center, drove a truck for Budweiser as well as various other jobs.
He is survived by his wife Kim Goosey of the home in Marceline, father David Goosey of Brookfield, three sons, T.C. Goosey and Loretta of Marceline, Timmy Goosey and Ashley of Marceline, and Trent Goosey of the home, four daughters, Nikki Martin and Kyle of Trenton, Rebecca Almond and Caleb of Rothville, Kelly Fletchall and Warrick of St. Roberts, and Sarah Fletchall of the home, three brothers, Mike Blackwell and Crystal of Marceline, Billy Sell and Betty of St. Joseph, Darren Sell of St. Joseph, five sisters, Shelly Bartlett and Tyson of Brookfield, Shannon Burge and Pat of Lancaster, KS, Joanne Avalos and Alfredo of Kansas City, KS, Mary Noble and Bob of St, Joseph, Ruth Sell of St. Joseph, mother-in-law Pat Clark of Marceline, sisters-in-law, Kristine Mousa and Ali of Zimbabwe Africa, Korrine Grady and Bobby of Marceline, seven grandchildren, Malina Martin, Harper Almond, Hayden Almond, Haisley Almond, Elayna Goosey, Cameron Goosey, and Rayanne Clark, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, two sisters, Loretta Sell and Sherri Burley, brother Ivan Sell, niece Emily Gandy, father-in-law Tom Clark, and two stepmothers Thelma Correll and Terri Goosey.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Monday, April 25, 2022 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Kim Goosey to help with expenses and mailed to Delaney Funeral Home 1720 N. Missouri Ave, Marceline, MO 64658.
