He was born October 19, 1963 in Delaware and graduated from Buckeye Valley High School in 1983, where he played baseball.
David enjoyed fishing and golfing when able.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Myrna Marlene (Lavender) Frey; son, Alex (Lauren) Fields; grandchildren, Evie and Atticus Fields; brother, Dwayne (Sherry) Hedges; sister, Julie (Jeff) Getzendiner; stepbrother, Nathan (Robin) Frey; nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his father Daniel Ray Hedges, his sister Victoria Hensen and his stepfather Samuel Frey.
Celebration of life services will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at 3:00 pm at New Hope Delaware, 74 Wootring St., Delaware, OH, with Pastor Eric Sapp officiating.
The Snyder Funeral Center, Delaware Chapel is honored to serve the Hedges family.
