Mr. David Herman Hembree, age 70, passed away peacefully in Powder Springs, Georgia, on January 10, 2025.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the White Oak Park Lake View Indoor Pavilion, located at 298 Mustang Drive, Dallas, Georgia, 30157.
David was born on May 4, 1954, in Douglasville, Georgia, to the late Mr. Ben Herman Hembree and Mrs. Cora Thelma Adams Lovinggood. He worked for many years at Austell Box Board, where he retired. David enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was soft-spoken, reserved, and cherished the simple joys of life, especially being outdoors. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his son, Eric Hembree; granddaughter, Tiffany Madison Hembree; daughter-in-law, Amanda Hembree; and brothers, Cecil Hembree and Andy Lovinggood.
David is survived by his sons, Brian Hembree, Kevin Hembree (wife, Christy), and Chad Hembree; grandchildren, Gavin Hembree (wife, Lexi), Dylan Hembree, and Mason Hembree; brothers, Tim Hembree and Greg Hembree; and the mother of his sons and caregiver, Teresa Hembree. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
