David Paul Lehmann, age 70 of Blossvale, NY, passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, June 12, 2025. David was born on June 2, 1955 in New Orleans, LA to the late Edward J. Lehmann and Leonore "Cleo" (Doyle) Lehmann. He grew up in the Irish Channel part of New Orleans where he graduated in 1973 from Redemptorist High School. After graduation, David worked for Dixie Machine & Welding. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. He enjoyed working on cars, gardening, and woodworking. David and his wife Barbara created many crafts and gifts they shared often with family and friends during the holidays.
David is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Barbara Lehmann; his children, Daniel (Lindsey) Lehmann, Jack (Alice) Everett and Lyn (Mike) Sorendino; his five grandchildren, Laurel, Trisha, Anthony, Brandon and Joseph; two great-grandchildren, Barren and Addison; and his sisters, Jane (Emile) Henson and Peggy Lubrano.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Edward G. Lehmann, M.D. and his late wife Lawrie; his brothers-in-law, Chester W. Henson and Anthony J. Lubrano; and his niece, Beth A. Henson.
A memorial visitation for David will be held Monday, July 7, 2025 from 10:00am - 11:00am at St. Ann Church & Shrine, 3601 Transcontinental Drive, Metairie, LA. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am.
