David Paul Molnar, aged 68, passed away suddenly at his beloved Pymatuning Lake "camp". David was born on July 28, 1956 in Natrona Heights to William (Bela) Molnar and Mary Kay (Blockinger) Molnar. 

David grew up in West Deer Township, graduating from Deer Lakes High School in 1974 and Slippery Rock State College in 1978. He obtained a master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1980. David was employed by the Allegheny County Department of Human Services. He selflessly served his community as a respected member of the Sharpsburg Volunteer Fire Department.

David enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his special friend, Mary Linn; sister, Susan (Thomas) Hvizdos; niece, Mary (Shane) O'Neil; aunts, Jane (Thomas) Rodwick and Bertha Molnar; cousins, Lance Molnar, James (Janice) Molnar, Paul (Tamatha) Rodwick, Kathy (Greg) Bucholtz, and Amy (James) Cronin; and countless friends and neighbors.

Friends received Monday, September 30th, from 2-4 & 6-8pm at Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. Sharpsburg. In lieu of flowers, his family requests donations to the charity of your choice.
