David C. Oblinski

David C. "Griz" Oblinski, 70, of Wattsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday October 19, 2022. He was born in Erie on October 27, 1951 a son of the late Mitchell W. and Ann T. Kosienski Oblinski.
Griz worked for Kaiser Aluminum for 27 years and went on to work as a well driller. He was a former member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and was an avid hunter and fisher.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Mitchell P. Oblinski.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 50 years, Gloria Lachesky Oblinski; his children, David M. Oblinski (Sarah) of Corry, Krista Oblinski of Erie, Brian Oblinski of Wattsburg, and Cody Oblinski of Wattsburg; five grandchildren, Dylan (Hannah), Michael, Luke, Coltin, and Cotah; two great grandchildren, Harper and Ryland; two sisters, Mary Ann Hirsch (Vincent) of New Jersey and Barbara Griffith (John) of Syracuse, NY; one brother, Anthony Oblinski (Dodi) of McKean; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 9367 Wattsburg Rd., on Friday October 28th from 9 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
