I´ve known David since the second grade. He always lit up a smile on everyone´s faces. He was the light to any darkness in our lives. May he rest in peace. He´s so missed.

Me and David have know each other since second grade. Ever since 5th grade we have been riding bikes. David was an amazing friend to me and to many others. Hanging out with David was the best thing I´ve ever done and I´m so sad he´s not with us anymore. May he rest in peace.

I didn't know David but I know he must have been a very special person to have volunteered with CODAR helping homeless animals. I'm very sorry for your loss.

The first time I saw David was in Kill Devil Hills, at the Cavalier Motel. I thought he was the sweetest, most beautiful baby. Watching him grow, along with Patrick and Alex, was a highlight of my summer. He certainly had a precious presence about him. He will be missed by everyone whose heart he touched. Riparadise sweet boy. We will see you again. Love, Ms. Shelly

My first memory of David is when I first joined Mrs. Bouruff's class (I joined in the middle of the year) and I was seated next to him. Since I was new I wanted to make sure I looked nice so I opened the camera and to a picture, when I go to look at it I see David photo bombing in the back. This was the funny type of person David was; he could always light up a room no matter what.
