David William Rudolph, 94, of Smithsburg, MD, passed away, Saturday, April 19, 2025, at his home.
Born Tuesday, August 19, 1930, in Cearfoss, MD, he was the son of the late Virlus Floyd Rudolph and Susanna (Horst) Rudolph. He was preceded in death by his wife Naomi H. Rudolph.
David was a minister for Stouffer Mennonite Church and Pondsville Mennonite Church since 1969.
He is survived by his sons, Mark Rudolph, Luke (Faye) Rudolph, Enos (Loretta) Rudolph, Simon (Grace Elaine) Rudolph, daughters, Rachel (Daniel) Hege, Leah (Raymond) Rodes, Mary Rudolph, Elizabeth Rudolph and Martha (Earl) Groff, brother, Noah Rudolph, sisters, Mary Hess and Martha Petre, 56 Grandchildren, 183 Great Grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a son, James Rudolph, daughter, Lois (Marvin) Martin, son-in-law Raymond Rodes, 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 4 brothers and one sister.
Services will be held Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 10:00 am, at the Stouffer Mennonite Church, 23303 Welty Church Road Smithsburg, MD, with the church ministry officiating.
Family will receive friends at Stouffer Mennonite Church on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be at the Stouffer & Pondsville Joint Cemetery, Edgemont, MD.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD.
