Born to Fred and Velma Silvers on March 7, 1945 in Somerset, KY.

Somerset is where David met the love of his life, Kathryn Henderlight. The two married in 1965 and had two children Tammara and David Jr. (Bud). They started raising their family in Norwood, OH and finally moved to their home in West Chester in 1985.

David was hands down the nicest human being placed on this earth. He always had a smile, always greeted you, and of course always offered you something to drink and would ask you to “have a seat and stay awhile”.

David fought cancer for many years and no matter how bad he felt, he never let it show. You could ask him, “How are you doing?” His answer would always be… “If I felt any better, I’d need to get a job!”

David will be missed by many. This world will not be the same without this wonderful man. He was EVERYONE’S Friend, but he was also a Son, a Husband, a Father/ Father -in-Law (to Dionni), a Grandfather to 3 Granddaughters; Ashley (Jorell), Roxanne (Ronnie) & Grace, a Great- Grandfather to 7; Malary, Marley, Maylee, Mara, Mazen, Raemerah & Raeleigh and a Great-Great Grandfather to 2 new little ones; Matthew & Kehlani.

David was preceded in death by both of his parents, his sister Francis, brothers Donnie and Arnold Ray, and his beloved son and namesake David Lee Silvers Jr.
