David Wright Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
He was born in Burlington, August 3, 1951. The son of Thomas B and Patricia (Christy) Wright Jr. He was a graduate of Rice Memorial High School 1969 and he graduated from UVM in 1975.
David was a Reiki Master and worked as an energy healer using Reiki and Chakra balancing and other eastern healing methods for over 35 years.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Leiphart of Washington, DC, his sister, Patricia Wright of South Burlington Vermont, his sister-in-law, Linda Wright, his nephew Patrick Wright (Jenn Hall), and Grandniece Auden Wright of Burlington Vermont, in addition to many close relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas B and Patricia (Christy) Wright Jr, his sisters, Christine and Gale and brother Thomas (Tibby) Wright and niece Denise Wright.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 30, at 10:00am at St. John Vianney Church, 160 Hinesburg Road, South Burlington. Interment will immediately follow in Resurrection Park Cemetery. A reception will be held at the St. John Vianney Church Hall at the conclusion of the burial.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Leukemia And Lymphoma Society or the charity of your choice.
