Deanna Ray Gogolen, 84, was born on November 20, 1940 and passed away on October 10, 2025, She is preceded in death by her father and mother Forrest and Nadine Ray of North Carolina and her son Mike Smith of Georgia.
Deanna is survived by her son Clint and his wife Gloria, two grandsons; Zachary and Jesse all of Florida. She is also survived by her caretaker Marisa Bee and family who were her second family.
Deanna loved to travel and went on several cruises which took her to many different destinations like Jamaica, Panama, The Caymen Islands, Mexico, The Bahamas and her favorite place Alaska.
Deanna loved and collected turtles and tea pots and anything that related to cats. Deanna loved and adored her two cats; Ziggy and Ouija (Weeju). She also loved to read and do puzzles. Once she finished her puzzles, she would glue them together and it would become wall art decoration. She had puzzles in every room of her house.
Deanna brightened the room with her beautiful loving smile. She was also ornery as ever and was never afraid to say what was on her mind. She was definately sugar and spice!
Deanna will be missed dearly by all who were blessed to know and love her.
