Deborah Ann Chene

Deborah Chene (71) went home to the lord on December 23, 2023, surrounded by family.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Bernice Chene.
She is survived by her siblings: Maureen (John) Andes, Pamela Noseda, and Keith (Shelly) Chene, Nieces: Kelly Kesler, Nicole Widrig, and Sydney Chene, as well as great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many lifelong friends.
Deborah grew up in Detroit, Michigan and attended Regina High School. She went on to study at both Michigan State University and Wayne State University for both undergrad and post grad studies. She enjoyed a long and successful career in telecommunications and after retiring, founded her own Staging Impressions company.
Deborah was a passionate outdoor enthusiast, who enjoyed traveling with family and friends, and "living her life with purpose". A resilient 14-year cancer survivor, she passionately dedicated her time to support fellow survivors and educate medical students, embodying strength and compassion in her journey. A common theme in Deborah's life was spending time with family and enjoying the companionship of the many friendships she cherished so deeply and whose lives she made better by just being present. She will be sorely missed, but never forgotten. Rest In Peace our fierce warrior.
Friends are invited to gather at the AH Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, Warren, MI, on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. with a memorial service taking place at
12:00 P.M.
For those who are unable to attend, the funeral service will be live streamed. Links and details for viewing the service online will be available here on Deborah's obituary forthcoming.
Following the funeral service the family invites everyone to a luncheon at Sajo's, 36470 Moravian Dr, Clinton Twp, MI 48035 from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. to share a meal as well as join in fellowship and memories of Deborah.
