Deborah "Dee" Edwards
Born August 12, 1955 in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. Graduated from Justin F. Kimball in 1973 where she enjoyed the Band, Orchestra, choir, and musicals. Passed away on April 26, 2025 of complications of AFIB at Methodist Hospital Richardson. She had been a resident at Beltline Healthcare in Garland, Texas
Dee worked in accounting for her entire career. She was an avid reader and enjoyed Bingo with her friends in the nursing home. She was also a huge Purple lover.
She volunteered with DFW Cocker Spaniel rescue as the Treasurer for several years, then as transport and foster with her Sister.
Preceded in death by: Parents, Arthur H. Edwards Sr. and Mother Shirley Edwards. Also Brother Arthur H. Edwards Jr., Uncle Vernon Edwards and his wife Etta Mae Edwards.
Survived by: Sister, Susan Edwards (Texas), Niece Christina Edwards and her children Jackson and Elizabeth (Illinois). Nephew Patrick Edwards, wife Betsy, children Rebecca and Braiden (Arizona). Cousins Rose Marie Hagerman and Karen Malone and their children.
A Memorial Service will be held in her honor at Jeter & Son Funeral Home, Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 1:00 PM.
