Deborah Ann "Debbie" Gentry, 54, of Wyomissing, passed away on September 28, 2025 at Penn Medicine in Philadelphia surrounded by her family.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Marion (Gmenier) McCoy and the late Joseph Boulanger. She was a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School.
Debbie worked over the years at Hollywood Cleaners, Joann Fabrics, and the Twin Valley School District; however, her favorite role was being a devoted mother to her four children: Jennifer, Richard, Thomas and Lauren.
She was an active volunteer within the Wyomissing School District and served on the Congregational Council at Atonement Lutheran Church, Wyomissing. She was an avid football fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, enjoyed all crafts, and loved family camping trips.
Debbie fought a long, hard battle with Stage 4 Melanoma with courage and grace until her passing.
She is survived by her mother, her children, and two siblings: Joseph (Sharon) Boulanger, and Lisa (M. Brian) Kopcik. Debbie was predeceased by her father.
The viewing will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2026 from 4 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA 19611. A time of sharing will follow.
