Age 62, of Largo, Florida and formerly of Wilmington, Illinois, died Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Suncoast Hospice Care Center in Pinellas Park, Florida.
Born January 3, 1960 in Joliet, Deborah Lynn is a daughter of Robert and Beverly A. (Jackson) Horton. Debi graduated from Wilmington High School with the Class of 1978, and went on to attend Joliet Beauty School. She enjoyed all animals large and small, but had a special place in her heart for cats. Debi also enjoyed spending time with family.
Survivors include her parents: Robert and Beverly Horton; three brothers: Robert A. (Christine) Horton of Braidwood, Illinois, Kyle (Sarah) Horton of Wilmington, Illinois and Darren Horton of Dana Point, California; four nieces: Ella Horton, Rebecca Horton, Breanna Horton and Brittany Horton; two nephews: Tyler Horton and Wyatt Horton; aunt Lois (Chris) Smith; uncles: Edward (Marcia) Jackson, and Charles (Leslie) Jackson, and cousins: Lisa (Jackson) Keeley, Dayna (Jackson) Haddon, Jeff Jackson, Kelly (Smith) Hornberger, Brent Smith, Adam Jackson and Clay Jackson, as well as her special friend Pat Van Duyne.
Debi was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Bill and Marie Horton, and maternal grandparents Harold and Helen Jackson.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 2, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 12:00 p.m. at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington. Deacon Jay Plese will preside and burial will follow in Wesley Cemetery.
