Lincolnton - Mrs. Deborah McCrary "Debbie" Leming, 68, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 12, 2025 at the Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas.
Debbie was born in Gaston County, NC on July 31, 1956 a daughter of the late Harley Albertis McCrary and Dorothy Ledwell McCrary. She retired after 22 service from Gaston County 911 Communications as a dispatcher. Debbie was an active member of Anthony Grove Baptist Church in Crouse.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her adoring husband of 42 years, Danny Ray Leming and two brothers, Tony and Tim McCrary.
Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Brian McCrary, Amy Mays (Scott), Shelley Hunsucker (Brandon), Jeffrey McCrary (Donna), Faith McCrary also grieving great nephews and nieces Lane, Joshua, Kayli and Matthew; sisters-in-law, Debbie Hembree, Linda Moss and Jean Dotson; cousins, Max and Nancy Rabb, and other extended family including her sweet dog, Poppy.
The family will receive friends from 10:00AM to 11:15AM on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Anthony Grove Baptist Church in Crouse.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:30AM on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Anthony Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Dennis Bean officiating.
Burial will follow the service at Gaston Memorial Park in Gastonia.
Memorials may be made to Anthony Grove Baptist Church, 100 Anthony Grove Church Road, Crouse, NC 28033.

Debbie was the godmother to both of my kids,, she and my mom were always doing something together or taking weekend trips to the beach,, her heart was huge and she had alot of love to give,, never met a stranger,,R.I.P Debbie
