Deborah "Debbie" Marie Hebert Moran, age 74, of Kiln, Mississippi passed away peacefully Sunday, May 11, 2025.
Debbie was a dedicated wife and mother. She married her high school sweetheart, Clyde Moran, on December 20, 1970. Together they raised three children while earning her Education Doctoral degree in Leadership. She valued education, hard work and was a model of integrity for her family and community.
Dr. Moran was a life long educator who loved to learn and shared that gift by teaching others. Throughout her career she served in the Catholic Diocese of Biloxi Schools, Bay St. Louis Waveland, Hancock County and Water Valley School Districts. She was a devout Catholic and often spent time praying her rosary and attending Mass. She enjoyed her retirement by spending time at home by her pool or with Clyde out on the farm. She loved to dance and listen to music. Debbie was the oldest of six siblings and she loved her sisters and brother fiercely. She always did everything she could to take care of her family throughout her life. Debbie would often cook delicious meals, sew and crochet to provide lifelong memories and gifts for her family.
Her work ethic, generosity, and kindness were often reflected upon by those who knew her best. Debbie's laughter was infectious and could bring light into any room. She never met a stranger and spent her life showing compassion, and love to everyone. Her never ending kindness was only matched by her tremendous work ethic and determination. Debbie spent every day of her life caring for and sharing her God given gifts with the world. Debbie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She is proceeded in death by her mother, Anita Hebert, father, Melvin Hebert, Sr., and brother, Melvin "Bubba" Hebert, Jr.
