Deborah Stansberry was born on September 27, 1951 to Nolan and Lois Little. She was loved by many. Deborah, also known as Debbie or Deb, was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt, cousin, friend and teacher. She went home to be with Jesus Christ on April 15, 2024.
She was a loving and kind lady who would love and cherish the hurting or those less fortunate. She touched many lives through church ministry and her 30+ years of teaching in California and at Head Start in Etowah and Athens, TN. She was like a second mom to many kids throughout McMinn County and was there for those who just needed a belly full of food. As people would come from miles around for a Debbie's burrito!
Her students who had grown up over the years and even have children of their own would see her out in public and give her hugs as they said with excitement, "Mrs. Debbie!. She meant so much to so many.
She loved and cherished her husband, Frank and their three children; son, Stephen and wife Ashley; daughter, Candace and husband Kevin; son, Matthew and wife Stephanie. She loved all her family but especially adored her grandchildren; Hunter and wife Alanis, Olivia, Kacen, Abigale and Georgia, who will continue through the generations to come.
Thank you to everyone for the love and support during this time and just remember that Debbie loved her Savior JESUS CHRIST and she is now Praising Him for eternity in heaven. She would want all her loved ones and friends and all the precious lives she touched over the years to give their life for him here on earth. To live and love purposefully for JESUS! She set a great example for us to all follow. God Bless you All!
