Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend passed away May 22, 2025 at her home in Midland, Ml with her family at her side, age 70. Debra was born March 10, 1955 in Saginaw, Ml to the late Clarence (Ken) and Sylvia (Klauka) Bellinger.
Her tenacity of spirit helped her survive being only 3 lbs when she was born. This tenacious spirit carried throughout her life. Frank Sinatra's song "I did it my way" was Debbie's song and life model.
She is survived by her husband; Larry Hatfield, children; Alisha Greene (James) Tobias, Joshua (Tricia) Greene, Erick (Aimee) Bellinger, grandchildren; Tiffany, Whitney, A.J., Cheyenne (Travis) Atwater, Dakota, Malachi, Trae, Cody (Ruth) Greene, Taylor (Nick) Bouchard, Wyatt Greene, Alexandria (Jewelia) Wood, Olivia Fowler, great grandchildren; Bentley, Layla, Jaxon, Dennis, Kye, siblings; Sharon (Don) Jarczynski, Youlonda (Larry) Leidlein, Arna Sexton, Arnold Geise, Kendra (Gary) Banks, Chad (Yolanda) Bellinger, Audra (Donnie) Brown, Clara (Jon) Schwab, Laura Bellinger.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents, daughter; Crystal Bellinger and siblings; Joseph Bellinger, Barbara Pelletier, Richard Bellinger, Regina Richardson and Derek Bellinger.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on May 29, 2025 at Smith-Miner Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00am until time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the family in her honor.
