Funeral services are 2:00pm Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS with burial in Oakridge Cemetery. Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS is handling the arrangements.
Delores exemplified a profound sense of purpose and fulfillment, spreading contagious joy through her creative passions for sewing, hair styling, cooking, and nurturing a compassionate spirit that inspired and uplifted all those around her. As a beacon of warmth and love, she drew immense strength and delight from her loving family, especially her great - grandchildren.
Survivors include her mother Martha Friston of Milwaukee, WI; sons Willie Friston of Clarksdale, MS, Tywain Friston of Clarksdale, MS; daughters Latasha Friston of Clarksdale, MS, Antria (Antonio) Cooley of Memphis, TN, Angela (Richard) Gregory of Clarksdale, MS; brothers Curtis Friston of Clarksville, TN, Tony Friston of Milwaukee, WI; sisters Dorothy Evans of Milwaukee, WI, Linda Friston of Milwaukee, WI, Taritha Friston of Tupelo, MS; grandchildren Cortavious Friston, Ni'talion Friston, Kasseyon Friston, Anterria Friston, Joyce Malone, Devon Friston, Cordarius Friston, Kansas Gregory, Ashton Gregory, Tywone Friston, Tylek Friston, Tyler Fiston, Jamilla Friston, A'Sharia Friston, A'Zara Friston, A'Zariyanna Friston, Sh'Niyah Friston, Sh'Riyah Friston, Amaya Stewart, Donta Bush, Ayryanna Jones, Tamara Jones, Shamya Goodman, A'Rycion Friston, A'meir Over; great- grandchildren Detavious Russell, Caysen Bowers, Caliyah Friston, Cyaire Bowers; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her father Wesley Friston, Sr.; brothers Wesley Friston, Jr., Leslie Friston, Keith Friston; granddaughter Kiona Friston.
