Delphia J. (Samolinski) Rosio joined her husband in heaven to dance on the clouds on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. Delphia was born March 4, 1930, to Leon and Martha(Noskowiak) Samolinski on their farm at the beginning of the depression.
She married her childhood sweetheart, Earl "Mike" Rosio Jr., on May 26, 1951, at St. Hyacinths Catholic church. He preceded her in 1995.
She graduated from Antigo High School in 1948. Delphia was employed at Weinebrenner Shoe Company Factory for five years. While raising her family she worked for Sheldons, Mepps Spinners, and tying flies at home.
Delphia was a lifelong member of SS Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church.
She was always there to help her family and loved ones and opened her heart and home to those who were in need. Simply put, she was a wonderful mother who always had a kind words and looked for the best in those around her.
Survivors include a son, Richard Rosio of Washington State; a daughter, Janie (Rosio) Bergman of Stevensville, MT; four grandchildren, Amanda Rosio, Jason Kalk, Nathan Bergman, and Samantha Bergman (Steve-partner); eight great-grandchildren. Delphia also has many relatives, friends & caregivers who will miss her small but powerful presence, the sage advice of an elder and most of all, her never-ending love of great and small.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lydia Mach, and a brother, Douglas Samolinski.
A private viewing will take place. The funeral Mass will be held at SS Mary & St. Hyacinths Catholic Church on Monday, June 6 at 12:30 p.m. with Rev Joel Sember officiating. Burial will take place at the Queen of Peace Cemetery. A celebration of life will take place at the City Park at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are may be directed to the family.
