Dennis N. "Potsie" Weber

Dennis N. “Potsie” Weber, age 76, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Harbor Haven Health and Rehabilitation Center with his family at his side. He was born on July 31, 1949, in Fond du Lac, the son of Gregor and Angeline (Horn) Weber. Dennis graduated from Oakfield High School in 1967. He then went on to serve in the United States Army from 1969 until 1971, stationed in Vietnam and he received a Purple Heart. On September 2, 1972, he married Ann Volbright and they have lived in Lamartine for 50 years.

Dennis worked at Mercury for 43 years. He was a member of the Twin Oaks Snowmobile Club, he loved snowmobiling, fourwheeling, tinkering and fixing things, camping, and most of all attending his grandchildren’s events. He was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone. Dennis loved his grand-pets and his cat Chip.

Survivors include his wife, Ann; his children, Stephanie (Eric) Hau and Mike (Shelly) Weber; grandchildren, Sierra and Sawyer (special friend Vanessa); sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Janice Volbright, Mary (Jim) Kuslits, Mark Narance, Dale (Chris) Volbright, Sandy (Dennis) Couture; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, Fern Volbright; brothers-in-law, Bruce and David Volbright; sisters-in-law, Jayn Narance and Pat Volbright.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A time of remembrance will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 3:00 PM. Cremation has taken place. Military graveside honors will follow the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be donated by the family in Dennis’ name.
