Mr. Deondrey Pierre Florence Sr.

Mr. Deondrey Pierre Florence, Sr., was born on February 29, 1984, to Lawanda Florence and Gregory Robinson in Chicago, Illinois. Deondrey received his formal education at John Marshall High School in Chicago, Illinois.

Deondrey was employed by Langdale as a Machine Operator for 3 years. In his leisure time he enjoyed watching movies, bowling, football, working, the thing he loved the most was being a dad to his beloved children, and he also loved spending time with his family and friends.

On Saturday, September 20, 2025, Mr. Deondrey Pierre Florence life was cut way too short, leaving us wishing for just one more day with him. We have to hold the memories of him in our hearts, and treasure them for life. He was preceded in death by mother, Lawanda Florence, his grandparents, Mary Florence and Allen Florence, his brother, Malik, and his uncles, Eddie and Jeremy.

Mr. Deondrey Pierre Florence leaves to cherish his memory his children, Deondrey Florence, Jr., Jayla Holt, Zyaire Florence, and Kendale Volcy; his siblings, Savarsia Glasco, Tierra, Stacy Florence, Brittany Robinson, Machiah, Shay, and Gregory Robinson, Jr. He also leaves a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Burden's Funeral Home. Service will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Burden's Funeral Home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service hour. Dr. Jeffery Wimbush is the Eulogist.
