Derek Richard Becker, 31, passed away unexpectedly June 5, 2025. Born May 26, 1994 in Barrington IL to his beloved parents Arthur and Michele (nee Smith) Becker of Crystal Lake. Derek also leaves behind his loving brother Joel Becker of Crystal Lake; devoted grandparents Jim and Sharon Smith of Rockford IL, Madeline (Robert)Gloss of Frankfort IL and Daniel Becker of Writz VA; caring aunts and uncles Chris and Christopher, Barry and Halah, Greg and Angie, and Jennifer and Bill; as well as his cousins Stephan, Nick, Alex (Alexander) Makena, Malley, Mac, Jack and Sam.
After completing High School Derek continued on and graduated from Harper College with a certificate in welding, he then earned a degree from the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Phoenix Arizona. Derek had a passion for motorcycles and loved to ride. He also loved music, he enjoyed sending his spare time playing his guitar and was an active dubstep composer. If not working on motorcycles or enjoying music Derek made sure to spend time with his family and his pets. His whimsical laughter will be greatly missed.
A memorial will be held to honor Derek’s life and memories in Green Lake Wisconsin August 23, 2025.
